what is coming of age??
So, I really have no idea, since I going through it myself. In my book, which I haven't really gotten that far, Show some characters growing and going through changes. To kill a mocking bird has shown how the characters are growing apart and changing their opinion. Scout is the most immature and is learning that things will never be the same, especially after she enters school.

A sad beggining.
So, I just started reading a story about this kid who gets into a motorcycle accident. I don't really know much about Michel. All I know I know is that he is supposedly a daredevil, and that's just because his friends are describing him. There are a bunch of backgrounds and flashbacks. I get to see the other sides of Michel that no one else knows about, except the person who has experience the moment with him. I sense that everyone shares a secret with Michel, as special moment that no one knows.
I think I can never really connect with some stuff Michel has done in hes life, but I can come close enough to know what it feels like. For example he is disliked by his father but adored by his mother. I am adored by my mother, but don't know much about my father. I never actually understood the connection between me and my father. It wasn't love or hate, like or dislike. Things were just awkward. Never knowing what to do or what to say. Never really assuming what was really going on when we were together or when we were apart. He mostly never crossed my mind. I already had other things to do. I had plans and activities, and sometimes having to cancel them at last minute because my dad wanted to do something, but he never knew my schedule. Now in present time he still does the same thing when I am visiting my friends and family from my mother's side. For instance, this last summer he wanted to take me to a party where his family was. I already had things to do. My closes friend was going to be home soon and I was going to see her. I told my mom I couldn't and surely she understood. But apparently my dad didn't. So he left mad and upset. I went to my friend and had a great time.
Michel, the daredevil always trying to do something fun and exciting. For me, that's sports. I love soccer, running and swimming. But sometimes they are not enough, so I go cliff diving whenever I can. I like doing and trying different things. That's one thing that both of my parents can agree on. I got that part of my genes form both of them. Two things that my dad tough me to do was riding a motorcycle and driving. But my mom won't let me, especially after the accidents that have happened to both of us. After her last motorcycle ride, she ended with a cast. After that cast was taken off she had 2 scars and weak legs.
I try my best to cheer up my friends and help them when there is something bothering them. So does Michel. My friends ask all the time how can I act so happy all the time. But I don't. They don't know my past and all the suffering that I have seen and felt. I am always happy because I am in a better place now and everything is O.K. Nothing can hurt me because I already have gone through the worst of the worst.

Lets have some fun
Sunday was the day I expected to rest...but I was wrong. My parents had other plans. And they included my grandfather coming over for dinner. So when he arrived, the house was spotless, clean, and clear as day, with sun coming in and shining all around the living room. I sat down on the rug between the coffee table and the sofa. My grandfather sat on the sofa and took a book out of a bag that he was carrying. As he handed me the book my sister complained that she didn't get anythings, yet. Once again my grandfather reached for the bag and took another book out, but this one was skinnier and had a picture cover. I looked down at my book and read the cover. My favorite, one-act plays! It's called Center stage. The first story in the book is called Driver's test. It's base on teenage dating drama, since the book is plays for teenager readers and actors.
As I read the story I realized that guys actually go through a tough time with dating. Though it's totally different with what girls go through, since in books the authors usually show that girls go crazy worrying about what to ware, what to do how to act blah, blah, blah, etc. Guess guys also go through the same. I never actually thought about it. When my uncles went on dates I was never really paying attention to that, to me it was only an excuse to play with their hair. To me it was like dress up. And when my closes uncle started dating I wasn't there, and I was too old to play dress up with him, he's only four years older than me.
It seems that in certain parts there is a big need to have a license to drive to your date. At least according to the story. In New York driving doesn't matter. It's too crowded, and would take too long. It's normal to walk around or take the train. Life in the City is completely different than the city. One thing for sure is that the distance of places are way further in a town than it is in the city.
Though girls may think that dating is harder for them, it turns out that the stressing out is equally shared. Dressing up, where to go, what to do. It's all goes down to the start to the end. So, never be selfish and think about yourself. Think of what is going through the other persons mind.

Not For Long
I have never really being affected by Anorexia. I did not always have control over what I ate and how much I ate. There was a time that I couldn't eat because I always felt full, or that I was too hungry to eat. I always made sure that I got the right nutrients to eat though. If I couldn't eat I would drink milkshakes, so mom wouldn't be too worried. I would pass hours on the dinning room with mom half asleep, waiting for me to finish eating my dinner. I would get up carefully and quietly to not wake mom up, and throw my food away. I always exercised and participated at school activities. As I grew older I got a more normal appetite but once in a while I would get a bit too tired. Now I skip a meal once in a while. I never actually thought about how it affected my family and friends until I started reading "Skinny" by Ibi Kaslik.
I never really went too far with starving myself. I had the cation of people worrying about me, specially during school and in school. I had friends at school, but we didn't really hang out. That's one thing I can relate and connect with one of the main characters. Giselle Vasco faced death when she starved her way through college. She was bought home for recovery after her treatment in the hospital there wasn't anyway that she was going back to school. I was always terrified that something like that would happened to me. What would my friends think about me? They wouldn't understand. That's what gave me the strength to keep eating. I knew that I needed to stop my bad habit. I tried so hard that sometimes it was too much. I became more aware of what my friends did and what they ate and what I ate.
My parents started noticing that I packed lunch everyday. The next visit I had with my doctor my weight was actually almost right to what a child my age would have. I felt proud. Sure, what I did and what my parents and I had to go through would hunt us until the ends of our lives, but the important part was that I had gone through it and never gave up. I'm sure thousands of people go through this and have to deal with it and can tell that they are hurting their family. A lot of this people don't even make it to get cured, I bet they just commit suicide. A sum of the people who suffer of sicknesses die every day all around the world. I am proud to say I am a fighter and a survivor. And many others are too. This is a battle that will last forever because it's something that every generation goes through. I don't know if people will be able to stop Anorexia, be it can be prevented.

Just Run Away
In the deep dark forest I ran way from.
I took the liberty to stay way forever,
And go somewhere where you aren't.
I'll be free from harm and will be able to listened,
And to be heard.
I'll be able to surround myself with happy music.
And you won't be there to hurt me, no more.
You won't be able to harm a fly,
'cause I'm fly like a G6.
