Sweet Freedom!

Reading the book with a lot of adventures of realistic fiction is what I had been doing  for the past few days.  I actually felt that instead of reading what the main character was experiencing I could visualize what was happening and felt that I was really there.  The pain and suffering that took place in the book was so frightening  and yet seem possible that I could see that it could happen in real life.  The book was so powerful that some parts took a while to absorb and  understand its full meaning.  This is actually a hard book to write about. This is the change about dictatorship in one girls life.  The true pain of the Dominicans.  This is the story of Before We Were Free.
I enjoyed the heart breaking story of the girl who skipped a childhood to womanhood.  This story made me connect the world history.  It made me realize that people are not learning from their mistakes.  Just look what recently happened in Egypt.  And look what is going on right now in the middle east! The pain that we as people have went throe and the pain that our ancestor have gone throe so we wouldn't make the same mistakes and have the freedom and rights that we deserve.  And look where we are.  Look where we ended up all over again.  In the same big mess.
It's time to move on.  Time to let go of the pass and the self-ish believes.  We worked hard to get the peace.  At  least we got it for a little while.  This time lets get that peace, but instead of like last time, lets try to keep it.  We need to embrace it, and each other.  We need to stop our foolishness and get along for once.

Unforgetable

At first glance it's just a book with a common title, but if you look closer it's the author of the hit novel of Gossip Girl.  The most wonder thing comes up to your mind if you have ever read the books.  Sure, the great romance novel that thousands of girls have read.  Well, I never did.  Kayla M. let me borrow the It girl series.  Not bad I thought as I got to book 5.  Not very age appropriate for young readers, it's too easy for them, and too hard for kids to understand and read.  The only reasons to read this book is for fun, in my opinion.
I can't really connect with this book.  First of all it all happens in a high school, which you stay until break.  Second of all there is a lot of backstabbing and break ups.  There is a lot of walk aways and revenge.
I don't really understand why a bunch of girls try to get back at each other, I mean, if you don't like each other than stay away from troubling on each other.  I think that's just a waste of time if you are just there to make the other payback from what you suffered from.  And if you know that someone is trying to get you kicked out, than why do you get yourself in to doing things that you aren't supposed to?  You are only making things easier for the person to get you kicked out.  That's just dumb.
You know, that saying, careful what you wish for?  Well you should.  That way you can  see what you're not missing out on.  You'll be more grateful  for what you have.  At least that's what I'm told.

The family reunion!

Hey, guess what?
I'm on book 3 from the 39 clues!
How for on do I have to read?  Well... let me see.  Uh, I know! 7 more to go!!!!  How exciting!
Well it it!  It is one of the greatest books written in modern history! I wonder why? Well, would you like to know?  Not only the characters in the book travel all over the word, but they too, go on deadly adventures against time and their biggest enemy.  Family relatives.  How delated would you be!  A great way to get together with a family full of backstabbers!  And I'm not kidding.  Don't believe me?  Go read the books yourself than!
What I like the most is that the way things work out have twist all over the pages.  Even when you know somethings going to happened it gets changed!  And want to know something more special about the book?  The author changes for each book!
I had a great time reading this past 3 books, believe me when I say that.  I laughed, and felt my hart racing each time someone was chasing someone else.  Or when a gun was shut by  the enemy.  The book is full of action... Especially explosions:)!
This is a book that will relax you, and take your mind to a different life.  You will forget about everything else in the world and won't realize ow much time has gone by.

Philosophy And Its History Mixed With My Own

In my life I had never considered philosophy.  It is one of my biggest interest now.  I enjoy thinking bout thinking, and what I am thinking about.  I never actually had done that in my early childhood.  Which, sadly, I regret.  It would have had been so much fun to do.   But I got my interest in philosophy by reading Sophie's World.  I was actually given to borrow this book from my fellow classmate, Hanna.  Thanks to her I got back my interest in philosophy.  My parents actually talked a lot about philosophy.  And, no, my parents are not philosophers, but think and like to explore different things.
All my life I have traveled, but I never actually wonder about the different cultures because they grew on me.  I never realized that I was different then other kids. I  was always never caring about what other people thought of me.  It never crossed my mind.  Then when I was nine I moved to New York.  I was more careful of what I did and what I said.
Kids were so careful about what they wore and when they wore it.  I started to do the same, slowly.  But then I completely forgot about it.  I just put on some random clothe I found wore it.  I never actually  picked my clothe the night before.
I can tell a lot of things. especially when I'm next to a person.  I be careful of what I do, or try to.  A lot of times, just like other people, I do things without thinking.  And sometimes I do it all the time.  Problem is I start to catch up and on, eventually, because everyone does.  And I intend to do better and learn, but like all humans I'm not perfect, and I might forget and might be messing up on the same thing all over again.  But that's not a reason to be excused.  Eventually we all have to grow one way or another... Even if we don't want to.
I'm still young and I have to learn, whether I want to or not.  Don't I?  I have to learn so much and it's hard when you are my age.  But we can do it.  Others have and so can we, to became an adult who is needed and wanted in this world.  We can become what our parents have become,  or we can become something greater than they have.  The way of life can never be understand.  But we can only do our best with what we already know...  Although we do not know if it all is true, since everything that lives can change, and so will we.

Watch: Mubarak's speech - Middle East - Al Jazeera English

Watch: Mubarak's speech - Middle East - Al Jazeera English

At first, when I heard that the president of Egypt was having a speech I thought it meant that he was overthrown. I thought It was over. The people were finally going to get the democracy and freedom that they wanted. But boy, was I wrong.
It had been the most disturbing event that I've ever seen occurring in Egypt.  People dying and getting hurt.  Robbers and kidnappers taking advantage of the situation.  People that were separated because they wanted money and a better life, had to travel somewhere else in the world just to get a job to pay for their families needs and wants.
It made me realize that not all of us have an easy lifestyle.  Not everyone gets the chances that we would like to have, and those who do don't appreciate it.  Even the smallest thing that we do we don't pay attention to.
The way those people are fighting in Egypt is for gaining control over their government. I have seen a lot of poverty since the begging of my childhood, and I know who this people feel like towards this president.  Egypt is showing the world what few know and talk about.  They don't care about the reputation and what other people think of them, because they are tire of other countries opinion.  They want change and a chance to good life.  They want what most of us would want if we were in the same situation.

3 Bloggs Of My Liking: All Star Mentor

I love that Hanna's blog post talks about so many things and stays on her main topic. The idea to write about a book and the foreword itself in one post is pretty amazing.   The way she added some background of her reading experience interested me the most.  Not only that she also got her voice in her writing and that is difficult to do for me a lot of times. Her blog post has inspired me to think of ways and possibilities I never thought of doing in a blog post. The best I can do just happened to change when I started reading Hanna's post and it really changed my mind on trying different ways to write on my blog.

Noa's post totally took me off guard.  Just by reading the title it completely got me engaged to her post.  Her poem so soothing and at the same time it scared me.  There was some mystery in it. But also there was a cute little moment of knowing her past.  The way she described this thing or person but never told what or who it was.  She also told her feelings towards what she kept describing.  I could tell the mood she putted in this.  Her voice was like a good scary ghost who had come to tell the story of why it returned.

Janee's Blog post was so amazing it got me hooked so fast I had to keep reading faster and faster.  When I was at the end of the paragraph I went on to the next wanting more. As I finished I felt like I had been racing against time and my self. I felt challenged.  It was so exciting reading that I completely forgotten that it was a blog post, that there weren't more words after I was done. No pages to turn no more adventures about her reading life.  No more sisterly like stories.  No more fun.  That's what I loved the most bout her post.  Her background of how she started reading the books.

Extra, Extra!!!  WANTED:
Anonymous'  blog is really interesting.  Not only blogger has no other post than this, but we don't know the identity of this great writer. What amuses me the most is the title of the blog page itself.  The start of a blog named Things You Wanted To Think About, But Had No Time.  No other an introduction and explanation of the title.  I can tell that this writer is really careful at explaining his/her thoughts. One of  the most extraordinary things I have ever read.

Shrug it off

What do you think about a 12 year old girl that has a crush on a guy?  Oh, how cute!  What a wonderful thing!  well, what do you think she feels?  Annamarie, or Shug to everyone in town that knows her, is dealing with this problem.  She realizes that she has a crush on her best friend.  You can see all the drama and crazy things that she has to go through in her point of view while growing up.  Her biggest rival in love ends up being her own older sister.  But if that's not bad enough her older sister, Celia, doesn't actually know about the rivalry.  The boy is in middle school and younger than Celia, who is in High school.  Point is when you think about it its complicated.  As if her life is not complicated enough she has a teacher that doesn't really like her, and her grade is affected by that.  She is to tutor her long time enemy.  This is the story of SHUG.
As I read the book I enjoyed seeing the character growing up.  I  felt that I was growing with the character, and going through.  I had my own feelings and opinions of the conflicts and problems.  I learned that though you might have a best friend, people change and your feelings toward each other will do too, eventually.  Hopefully everything will work out .  But sometimes things end up differently.  First consider the option to fix things and work out your problems and differences.
I too have to go through this challenges to grow.  We all do.  No matter how old we are, sooner or later we all have to face our fears.  Sure, my problems might be different than yours, but I have friends and family who support me.  They might not know how to help from time to time but they will always be there, trying their best to help out.
I learned from this book that you have to say what you feel, no matter how embarrassing it might be.  If you want people to help, support you, and understand you you need to speak up.  You don't need to yell it out to the whole world.  You just need to let it out.  You need to relax, let your self see the world in all aspects and points of views.  Let your self be who you are.
