I have recently started reading the book called 39 Clues. I read just the first sentence and got addicted and obsessed with the book. The first thing I thought when I got the book was that it was really thin and going to be an easy leveled book. I stand corrected. I also thought it was going to be one of those obvious mystery easy solving books. I also got corrected. As I read on I realized that the book was not only mystery. I saw the characters growing up, and learning about each other. The trust was tested, and revenge was on. Certain members of the family turned their backs to each other and turned into backstabbers. But unlike the rest the ones you expected to fall apart were the youngest, with no money. The book made me realize that people change and can be greedy. But the ones that love you and care will stay and support you. Would you choose a thousand dollars or a quest that could be so dangerous that it could kill you? Now, what if this quest was to find the answer to be the most powerful Human in the world? What if you were an orphan who just lost one of the most important persons in the world, the only one who cared for you and your sister? What if you only had 5 minutes to choose, and if you choose the quest you were to be disowned by your aunt? There is no turning back, once you make the choice you burn that check, and don't get any money.
Would you take it? Would you help if you were the babysitter? How about the lawyer? And Why does everyone want the quest?

What in the world?
when you think back at the time when you were at the age of 5 you think of innocence. You remember all the pretending. The wonders and adventures of the world. You remember playing pirate ships, the princesses and the dragons. You remember now?
As you went to 2nd grade you learned about cutties and germs. Then you started to stop hanging out with the boys. They started to seem so gross and disgusting. Some of us as girls still at my age still think the same thing, but it has a reason, and it doesn't include all the boys in the world. Sure, we get creep out by the guys but the actions they do seem inappropriate and unwanted behavior. Well, is it wrong that we have different oppinion? Is it unfair? Because I'm sure that boys have a lot to say bout this and Girls' behavior too.

Intimidation Is not good Part 1
Bullying hurts people. Most of the time, when people think about bullying they instantaneously presume it's physical action. They think that bullying is only or mostly physically. Well, it's not. There is also Verbal bullying.
Everyone is bullied once in a while, even though you might not mean it,or what you said is misunderstood. But that counts on the way you say it and who you really are.
Standing up to what's right is the best thing to do. No matter what the other person thinks of you. It's okay if people disagree in what's right from wrong, but bullying is not the right way to tell each other about the differences between the human kind.
Just because you are different doesn't mean getting bullied is okay either. The environment around people should be clean. Which means being clean physically, mentally, and emotionally. Being different is not bad. Being all the same is too boring. What if the people around you were the person as you are, Physically? What if they all liked and did the same things that you do? What would life be like in black and white?

"WHEN IT HAPPENED"
The book is a deep touching story of how a couple meet, with their share of their side of the story. It tells of how two completely type of people meet and fall in love on their way of finding it, and a successful future.
The book has the two sides of story; the point of view of Sara life that she's going through, and Toby's life. The book is in fully formed chapters. Each chapter has a different prospective.
The wonder of this strong touching story is, that it leaves you with a bunch of personal questions. For me, it was shocking to have this questions in my head because all of the things that I haven't experienced are talked about in the book. This got me focus about the future and how it will affect my friends, the time that I have to juggle with for them and my other activities.
My mother always told me to never rush into conclusions and things. That everyone is different and have their own timing of learning and doing things. She told me to think about things before I regret them. And I do... most of the time (which, sometimes I get distracted and forget to study). But I always think about relationships of how people start, just because everyone is doing it. Don't do anything that you're not ready to, because to tell you the truth no one is.
So, just be careful. If someone tells you something or does something that's not right or you feel comfortable about, walk away from that person and tell a grown up, or someone you trust an tell them what happened.

The Vailed Rebellion
Afghan women suffer under the constraints of the tribalism, poverty and war. Now they are starting to fight for just a life.
Ten years ago only women on the streets were beggars. And the beggars were usually widows or wives of disabled men. Now, at a rally for a presidential candidate in the stadium women participated.
Lynsey Addario describes her trip and adventure of the changes in Afghanistan. She shows how the women had change since her first trip to Afghanistan in 2000, and her most recent work that took over 8 weeks in 2009 and 2010. Her story was recently published in the National Geographic magazine.
In her story, Ms. Addario interviews many young women who have suffer and know from personal expirience, too much about the unhappy world that is part of their lives. For example, 11 year old Fariba tells her story of how she took a bottle of petrol and burned herself. "When I returned to school, the kids made fun of me. They said I was ugly" She now says, "I regret my mistake. " The reason of her action is unclear; Fariba claimed a Women came to her dreams and told her to burn herself. Ms. Addario reports that many women burn themselves because they believe suicides is the only escape from an abusive marriage, abusive family members, poverty, or the stress of war. She also report that doctors know when the burns are, and were intentional from their shape, location and smell. An estimated 2,300 women or girls attempt suicide each year. Many set themselves on fire as a way to escape domestic violence.
Ms. Lynsey Addario show that twenty-five years ago an Afghan girl with green eyes haunted the cover of National Geographic. She became the iconic image of Afghanistan's plight; a young refugee fleeing the war between the soviet- backed communists and the American- backed mujahideen. Now the icon image of Afghanistan is again a young woman, Bibi Aisha a 19 year old girl, whose husband slashed off her nose and ears as punishment from running away from him and his family. Aisha fled to escape beating and other abuse.
Why do husbands, fathers, usually male relatives, and even mothers-in-law brutalizes the women in their families? Are these violent acts the consequence of a traditional society? And suddenly, after years of isolation and so much war, being hurled into the 21st century?
Now think about this, in eight out of ten cases, a family is responsible for a violent attack on a women. Is this fair? Is this what we want happening in our world?
From April 2007 to October 2009 Kabul, Afghanistan issued 180 driving permits to woman. The total for men: 27,985.
How do you feel? Shocked? Do you feel more thankful for the rights you have? Are you thankful about the smallest things you don't even bother to think bout?
Afghanistan is a small part of the world. But it's a part that need to be fixed and helped. It may seemed to be just one little place, but if you realize this is not just happening there. It happens in other parts too, even though they are small. But if you think more about it and start to add those places up it starts to built up in a bigger portion, little by little, and realize that it's more wide spread than you might think.

Support When Important Topics Occur Around The World Part #1
The people around the world ignore some topics that shouldn't be forgotten. Some of these people keep silent because they are scared. They are threatened by the "people" around them. I put quotations around the word people, because if you are a person, a human being, you know how to treat each and every person with equality. We respect each others likes and dislikes. We respect each others religion and differences. But most people that help each other and respect every difference about each of us and every single living thing around the world, are silent due to threats from the world. The rest who pretend to be people, are the ones who say that we should correct each others actions. They are the ones who should be scared of us because we have more knowledge in certain ways and we accept the world and how it is. A good example for all of this is gay rights.
At a time of insecurities we should all be there and try to help out. But when we start taking sides that's when things go wrong. Most of us in the United states are struggling with the facts of gay people existing. But if we really think about it we are a small part of the world. If you watch the news you can see that people in Africa are threatening to imprison gays. But in certain parts of Africa, they are demanding death. The poor are going with this because they don't really know much about this topic. A lot of gay people are keeping their identity a secret and are silent because, if the hate continues and grows, a law will be passed to enforce that hate is acceptable with society; and that everyone is fine with that type of injustice. If that law is accepted the people who are known to be gay will be punished or even executed. People need to think about this very seriously because they don't know the future and how it might affect their families, especially their loved ones.

Out of this world?
Should homework be allowed?
well, we all have different opinions about this question. Sure, we all love having fun and free time but sometimes it gets tiring and boring just doing that and then if you do it everyday it turns boring. Over time you grow and grow and lean why you have homework and how it will help you in life later on; right now you just do it because if you don't you'll get a bad grade and get yelled at by your parents.
you might be wondering how is homework going to help you, especially in the future. Well over time you will realized. Whether you like it or not. You can learn the easy way or the hard way.
You might stay up all night just working on homework. But when you're older you'll be up late doing your work, for work. Which sucks and isn't fair if you ask me. But life goes on, and when you realize it you're retiring. You stop working and are too old to party like you were young. But still, you get what you always wanted, peace, happiness, and the love of your family. Plus, money from the government without working!

Terrorizing or fun?
Halloween,
Fun, exciting, CANDY!!!!!
Those are the first thoughts that comes to our minds, as the children that we are all inside and out. At first glance all that we see are people with costumes and bags full of candy.
Trick or treat!
Surprise!!!
But who is really behind that door or mask?
Is it safe to go on?
What if they are not who they want you to see them as?
Halloween is a nice time to dress up and pretend to be someone who you're really not.
The one thing you have to be on Halloween is cautious. Be careful everywhere you go and make sure that you are accompanied by someone, especially if you are under age and/or you don't feel comfortable going by yourself, go with an older person/ relative.
And if they don't give you a treat and take you away before or after you do a trick on them, who is the prank or trick really played on? ,Now, you only have two choices here, but they don't include the kidnapper. It's either you or your family and friends. Who is the one who was the really irresponsible and let you go by yourself?

A touching book to reread.
As I reread the book "Bridge To Terabithia" I connected my world and life with this book. I felt a strong feeling on the friendship of Jess and Leslie grew. Until the down falls in the book. Tension rises and rivalry takes over between good and bad, and over time it all vanishes with a dramatic ending.
