The book Sophie's World is a very different experience for my reading life. It question me of things I never thought of and challenged me to think beyond my knowledge and both my normal point of view critical point of view.
For Sophie life was perfectly ordinary. She had drills and choirs. She also had hobbies and a secret hide out. Until one day when she came home from school, while doing what she usually did every day when she got home from school, getting the mail from the mail box go inside and do homework. When she checked the mail that day there was only one small white envelop with Sophie's name and address, except that there was no senders address. There was a massage inside. It read "Who are you?". Sophie thought about it and didn't feel that she really had the answer to this. She knew her name, but then she thought about her parents giving her a different name. Then she kept receiving more envelops. She had learned about God creating the world, and being the creator of all things. But she knew and felt that the answer wasn't right.
That got me thinking, would I risk my knowledge and put it up for a test? Sophie started to realize that there were different believes, but they shouldn't be taken as facts. They are not the answer that she was searching for, they were the easiest but they weren't possible, because something couldn't appeared or come out of nothing nor thing air.
Would I hide this from everyone? who is this secret sender? What does he or she want? would you truest that person? Would I?
